简介 Killian is a young man who has never left the remote mountains of Huesca (Spain) which saw him grow up. In 1953, he travels back to the exotic Equatorial African island of Fernando Poo, in Spanish Guinee, where he was born, to work in a cacao plantation alongside his father and his brother. During 20 years in this island, until the troubled days of independence, he will undertake a journey towards maturity and knowledge, but will also have to deal with pain and loss.。During WW II, a young German woman is separated from her family and imprisoned by the Nazis. After being freed she falls in love with and marries a German officer. When Berlin falls to the Russians, and her husband killed, she flees to America, carrying his unborn child, all the while not giving up hope that she will find her family, tied together by her mother's ring。环山村农民何二狗和父亲在矿山掘进队打工，父亲因公遇难，何二狗带着父亲的抚恤金和父亲的临终嘱托回到家乡，开始了几乎不可能完成的工程——挖隧道。这些年农村渐次荒废，人丁流散，村主任老马对何二狗的隧道工程爱莫能助，更不希望他把父亲的那点抚恤金扔在山梁上。漂亮寡妇二嫚与邻居何二狗彼此有意，但因为挖隧道矛盾不断，村里首富牛百发因为经济利益或明或暗地阻挠隧道工程，开山的炮声彻底打乱了环山村的宁静。环山村景色秀丽但四面环山与世隔绝，西面与城里只有一山之隔，当年何二狗的母亲半夜发病死在送往医院的山路上，何二狗因此与大山结仇，他一个人面对大山进行着毫无胜算的战争。表面拙笨的何二狗贴出了一张收取隧道过路费的名单，为了免交过路费，村里人纷纷行动起来，无论何种套路和算计，最终都参与到隧道工程中，施工的队伍不断壮大。因工程资质等问题，环山村隧道被勒令停工，热乎朝天的工地又沉寂下来。何二狗偷偷开工，排哑炮时为救二嫚负伤，两个人也因此感情升级。何二狗的故事在网上大火，被称为隧道哥，当初拒绝帮忙的环山村农民掘进队也赶回来加入工程，政府和有关部门也高度重视，派出了大型工程队从山对面施工，何二狗终于可以告慰父母的在天之灵了，环山村也将开始新的生活。。
