A sensorial, cinematic exploration of what a story can be.。从小就很懂事的李素英（李宝英 饰），志愿是和弟弟尚宇（朴海镇 饰）一起成为一名医生。但中途自己的父亲李项材（千浩振 饰）失业了。失业的父亲也不努力寻找工作，总是幻想着一夜暴富。赌博，借高利贷，拖累了素英一家人，尤其拖累的自己的妻子，妻子不久就抱病离世。妈妈的离去对素英是巨大的打击，她不得不放弃攻读医学院的机会，而是把尚宇送去了大学，对于父亲则是与日俱增的仇视。经过努力成为律师的素英结识了Winners社长姜禹才（李相允 饰），得到了许久未得到的关爱。
