「瓜を破る」の主人公は、30歳を超えて未だ性体験がないことをコンプレックスとしている会社員女性・まい子。ほかの人々が普通のことのようにしている体験を自分だけができていない現実に焦るまい子は、仕事中もプライベートの時間も、そのことが頭から離れなくなってしまう。そんな彼女が、コピー機のメンテナンス会社で働く男性・鍵谷と出会ったことから物語は動き出す。。The whole intrigue is centered around carte-blanche documents kept in a vault. Whoever fills in the blank becomes the owner of a revue. Big money is involved. The nephew of the owner of the vault is trying to cheat his uncle and have his name in the documents. Everything is even more complicated because the manager of the bank has a finger in the pie, too.
