该剧根据1942年真实发生的“文化名人大营救”事件改编而成，包括茅盾、夏衍、 邹韬奋、丁聪等在内的800多名中国当时最著名的文化界人士，在数个省市的抗日队伍的帮助下，奇迹般躲避了日军搜捕，这场大营救行动被茅盾褒扬为——“抗战以来最伟大的抢救工作。”因为据说，如果这场营救行动不成功，整个中国的文学史和艺术史都将被改写。。A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。
